Not sure what therapy would even look like for you?
That is completely normal. Starting this process takes courage, and you don’t need to have all the answers right now.

I work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, anger, trauma, grief, addiction, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. My clients come from diverse and richly varied cultural backgrounds, which has deepened my commitment to providing culturally sensitive and affirming care. I am especially passionate about supporting women, parents, and members of the LGBTQ+ community..

Our first session together is the perfect way to start our journey together. I will introduce myself and ask you some questions about what brought you in for therapy. We'll then dive into some questions about your history and what you want to focus on in our sessions. You will learn more about what to expect in future sessions and about therapy in general. At the end, I will provide you with a brief summary of everything I’m hearing, to make sure I understand your needs. You will also get the chance to ask me questions about what our work together might be like. I love questions and collaborating with you. However, it's also perfectly fine if you may not know right away where you want to start. The first step can be the hardest: I got you.

I accept several forms of insurance BCBS, Aetna, Cigna, Kaiser, Unite Healthcare. I use an online platform that can confirm your benefits before we start and give you an estimate. I also accept cash pay and can give you an invoice to submit to your insurance (superbill) for reimbursement if you are out of network.
